The Royal Tyre
This is a Purple Leaf Bead wrapped in Sterling Silver.
I gave it the nickname The Royal Tyre. Purple was known as the color of royalty because purple dyes in the old days where too expensive for the commonwealth. The reason for this is because the dyes came from a small mollusk in the Tyre (which is now Lebanon) region of the Mediterranean Sea.
Length - 5.5cm
Width - 2cm (thickest part)
